Chris's first full day home was good. He was, however, extremely tired after a full day of doing things. He was very happy to be able to sleep in his own bed last night for the first time in over 6-months! We went to the eye doctor this morning to get his vision checked and get new glasses, and although they were able to give him a better prescription, he still cannot see fully. We did pay a little extra for him to be able to get some glasses today as any improvement to his vision is better than nothing. He is now getting referred to a retina specialist as there may be water in the retina. We are praying all will be revealed at the retina specialist. We also went to the DMV to get his temporary handicap placard. Ultimately, this led to Chris being upright in a chair or wheelchair for over 9 hours today. This is the most he has sat upright, since before April when he was admitted to the hospital. He will have a follow up appointment with his surgeon tomorrow, so likely another full day. God is Good!
Psalms 98:1 "Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things; his right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.
